JLGC is a living and ever changing body of women working to build a better community. The working relationships our members enjoy help to foster co-operation and the spirit that makes St. Tammany Parish a better place to live. We invite you to join us.

The Junior League of Greater Covington is an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

Many of our area’s most effective and enduring organizations were originated and/or nurtured by the JLGC, including the Youth Service Bureau, Children’s Museum of St. Tammany, Baby Think It Over, Meals on Wheels, and Covington Head Start. Our current community projects include Project Prom and Project Homecoming, Girls’ Health Program, Kids in the Kitchen, and R.E.D. Literacy Program.
