April 10th – 26th: Scavenger Hunt
Embark on an adventure throughout the Mandeville/Covington area with our “Give-Back” Scavenger Hunt! Explore participating businesses and capture memorable moments with photo opportunities placed strategically across the city. Stay tuned to our social media channels (Facebook | Instagram) on the following dates for clues:

April 10th – 26th: Silent Auction
Get ready to bid and win big in our virtual Silent Auction! From unique experiences to coveted items, there’s something for everyone. Browse through our diverse selection of offerings and place your bids from the comfort of your own home. Your participation directly supports the Samaritan Center’s Cancer Assistance Program, providing crucial aid to those in need. See the items in person at our Tandem Trivia Night!
April 26th: Trivia Night at Tandem (7 pm)
Wrap up our fundraising efforts with a bang at Trivia Night hosted at Tandem Coffee and Cocktails! Gather your friends and family for an evening of brain-teasing fun and friendly competition. Test your knowledge across various categories while enjoying delicious drinks and tasty bites. It’s a fantastic way to cap off our journey together in support of a worthy cause. The Silent Auction items will be present for everyone to bid on as well!
Clue 1 (4/10/24): Stop for a Pint at Bingo tonight. Make sure to mention Junior League of Greater Covington at check-out. ?? #JLC4SC
Participants:
Participants must have a Facebook or Instagram account.
Game Duration:
Clues will be posted at 7 a.m. on the following dates – Wednesday, April 10th, Friday, April 12th, Wednesday, April 17th, Friday, April 19th, and Wednesday, April 24th, 2024.
The scavenger hunt for a particular clue will start at the businesses’ opening hours on the day the clue is posted and end at close of business hours on the same day. Open/Close hours will fluctuate between businesses participating. Facebook | Instagram
Submission of Answers:
Participants must take a photo of themselves in front of the official decal and post it to either Facebook or Instagram tagging the business where the photo was taken and using the #JLGC4SC.
Submissions must be made before the business closing time on the date the clue is posted.
In addition to posts at the Clue-driven locations, participants must also take a photo of themselves in front of the official decal at the Junior League of Greater Covington’s Trivia Night at Tandem Coffee and Cocktails on Friday, April 26th by 7 p.m.
Scoring:
Points will be given for taking and posting photo in front decal at all six locations, tagging the business of the day, and using the hashtag #JLGC4SC. Each action will count as an entry.
Participants need only post to Instagram or Facebook.
Verification and Judging:
Organizers will review submissions and determine their validity.
In the case of multiple participants having the same entry count, organizers will have a random draw to determine the winner.
The winner must be present at the Junior League of Greater Covington’s Trivia Night at Tandem Coffee and Cocktails Friday, April 26th.
In case of any disputes, the decision of the organizers will be final.
Fair Play:
Participants must adhere to the principles of fair play and sportsmanship.
Any form of cheating or dishonesty will result in disqualification.
Have Fun:
The primary goal is to have fun and help us raise money for Samaritan Center’s Cancer Assistance Program. Remember, the Scavenger Hunt is a “Give-Back” event and each participating businesses’ has committed to donate to the Samaritan Center’s Cancer Assistance Program, so please patronize our partnering businesses!
